My Hometown Fest is all about great food, great craft beer & spirits, and great fun. But don’t forget the great music as well! In fact, we are not aware of any other festival taking place from Tampa to Naples this spring that offers the incredible music performances we have scheduled for this year’s event. From the popular music from multiple genres of American Jones to the classic rock, high energy an original music of Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio to the Hot Tonic (trio) playing American/swing/latin and jazz there is something for everyone!

Performing Top 40 Dance, Latin Pop (in English & Spanish) are our specialties! We also sprinkle in some Calypso, Trop Rock, Motown, Classic Rock and even a few Top 40 Country tunes- always with a festive flair!

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Danny is a talented musician who relocated to Florida in 2014 to pursue a Music degree at The University of Tampa. With a musical journey spanning over a decade, Danny’s expertise lies in saxophone and piano, honed during his high school and college years. As the founder of the renowned Danny Bub Combo, the band gained momentum while Danny simultaneously pursued his studies at UT. His dedication to excellence led him to perform on national tours, sharing stages with acclaimed acts like Dirty Heads, Damian Marley, and Cage the Elephant. Alongside performing at weddings and corporate events, Danny’s passion for music extends to frequent appearances across Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater during the band’s downtime. Danny relentlessly strives to uphold the exceptional quality and talent of DBC, ensuring that every performance they deliver exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.
Mylon & the Pop Ups

Mylon was born in Chicago but grew up in Bradenton, FL. Her introduction to singing and songwriting is actually accredited to some of her friends from college. What started as open jam, the rest became history. They began to book major gigs as a headlined band throughout our time at FAU. Some of the members left after graduation, but not wanting to lose momentum, Mylon started booking weddings and private events as an entertainer from 2012-present day. She also began to work in studios, writing original music for herself and for other artists’ projects. After graduating from FAU, Mylon auditioned for ‘American Idol’ and made it all the way through to Hollywood. Currently, she works as a Songwriter/ Entertainer as well as a flight attendant.
