Great Music
My Hometown Fest is all about great food, great craft beer & spirits, and great fun. But don’t forget the great music as well! In fact, we are not aware of any other festival taking place from Tampa to Naples this spring that offers the incredible music performances we have scheduled for this year’s event. From the rocking blues and soul of Suncoast favorites Kettle of Fish to The Diverbombers and singer-songwriter and American Idol contestant Mylon, you will be up jumping, dancing and singing along!

The Divebombers
Noon-1:15 pm
The Divebombers play classic American music with a focus on top level guitar playing. The group blends many classic genres into a crowd pleasing and exciting performance. The Divebombers present the music of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Glen Campbell, Chuck Berry, Jerry Reed, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and early Elvis, with instrumental virtuosity and an irresistible sense of fun.

Kettle of Fish
1:45-3:15
Kettle of Fish is Sarasota Herald Reader’s Poll winner “Favorite Band” for 2020, 2018, 2017, 2016.
Kettle of Fish plays festiblues, the kind of festival music that features blues, soul and funk with the energy of rock n roll. They make old songs new again, and their originals sound like classics. Kettle is one of the hottest live acts in Southwest Florida, headlining to thousands, and opening for such acts as Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Elvin Bishop, Dickey Betts (three times, and he even called the band “intimidating”) and many more playing originals and deep track covers.

Mylon Shamble
3:45-5:00
Mylon was born in Chicago but grew up in Bradenton. Her introduction to singing and songwriting started when she went to an open mic night to support some friends who had started a band. She ended up joining them for a song during the open jam and the rest was history. They began to book major gigs as a headlined band throughout their time at FAU. She also began to work in studios, writing original music for herself and for other artists’ projects. After graduating from FAU, Mylon auditioned for ‘American Idol’ and made it all the way through to Hollywood. Currently, she works as a songwriter and entertainer performing throughout the country.
